Manual Clutch Systems for v-twin: What’s the Rekluse Difference?
Overview
Rekluse manual clutch systems are not simply replacement components mimicking OEM design. From TorqDrive clutch packs to complete Core Manual TorqDrive systems, Rekluse manual clutches feature proprietary technology and design to increase power transfer to the rear wheel, improve lever feel and consistency, and maximize durability. Learn more about Rekluse manual clutch components and how TorqDrive and Core technologies can improve your ride.
More Friction Disks = More Torque Capacity
TorqDrive technology features thin friction disks developed over years of riding and testing in professional racing, allowing more disks to fit into the clutch, drastically increasing performance and durability. In addition, tuning options are expanded with varying clutch spring rates to maximize power transfer and reduce clutch lever pull effort. Riders will feel improved acceleration, enhanced drive at the rear wheel, and overall clutch and power control.
TorqDrive Friction Pad Design Aids Oil Flow and Reduces Drag
Rekluse’s friction pad design results in clean disengagement at the lever, improved modulation, and improved clutch control. The material is proprietary, too, improving grip and durability with up to 4x the life of OEM frictions. TorqDrive disks utilize a steel core, while OEM disks use aluminum. When heated, steel expands less than half the amount of aluminum, virtually eliminating clutch fade.
Basket Sleeves Eliminate Notching
Included in most TorqDrive applications (except for bikes with OEM steel baskets) are Rekluse’s basket sleeves. These steel sleeves protect and extend the life of the basket and eliminate basket wear and notching, furthering the durability of your clutch.
Core Technology = Billet & Forged Components Designed for Durability
Rekluse’s Core technology is the foundation of our premium clutch systems. Machined in-house from aerospace quality billet aluminum, Core components are engineered for optimized strength and oil flow, allowing your clutch system to last longer and perform consistently through reduced operating temperatures, even in extreme conditions.
