Star Racing Yamaha Powered by Rekluse for the Seventh Consecutive Year
Rekluse’s race win and championship-studded history with the Star Racing Yamaha team dates back to the off-season of 2015. After extensive development of the Core Manual TorqDrive system and proven performance at the professional racing level, Rekluse went testing with Star Yamaha.
A seemingly unanimous feeling of power transfer advantage made Star Yamaha’s decision to officially begin running the Rekluse product in 2016 an easy decision. Since then, Rekluse has continued working closely with the team’s experts and riders to fine tune the TorqDrive system, racking up over 10 Championships since then. The kickoff of the 2022 Supercross season also marked the kickoff of the seventh consecutive year the Star Racing Yamaha team will be relying on Rekluse to get the power to the rear wheel and ultimately across the finish line.
Only a handful of rounds into the SX season so far, Christian Craig has taken the lead in the 250SX West class, actuating a Core Manual TorqDrive clutch drive system in his ’22 Yamaha YZ250F. As of now, Craig currently holds the points lead and the red number plate with 3 out of 4 wins.
The 450SX class is now commonly referred to as ‘stacked,’ and that couldn’t be more true in 2022. In his debut with the Star Racing Yamaha team, 2020 Supercross Champion Eli Tomac has fought for consistent results, earning a red number plate on his Rekluse-equipped Yamaha YZ450F and the points lead heading into Round 5 of the series.
The entire Rekluse team is looking forward to continuing another incredible Supercross season, as well as looking ahead to lining up for the Pro Motocross series with Star Yamaha this summer!
