Valparaiso,Chile (January 18^th, 2014) Rumored to be the toughest Dakar Rally Race to date, 2014 tested the strength and determination of all competitors. Rekluse is proud to be the trusted supplier to the top competitors as they put themselves and their machines to the ultimate test in off-road racing. Rekluse riders Olivier Pain and Cyril Despres had outstanding finishes, with Pain finishing on the podium in third and Despres right on his tail to finish fourth. Both riders are teammates on the Factory Yamaha France Dakar Team. Finishing this race is a major accomplishment and to finish in the top 5 exemplifies world-class athleticism on the best equipment available.

There were 196 bikes that started the 2014 Dakar Rally and only 78 finished. Riders had to traverse grueling terrain across 3 countries, spanning 16 days and 5,281 miles.
