Rekluse Partners with Yamaha on New YXZ1000R

Boise, ID (October 20, 2015) – In September, Yamaha Motors revealed an exciting new product that is taking the side by side world by storm—the highly anticipated 2016 YXZ1000R. In addition to being the first sport side by side ever with a sequential five-speed manual transmission, it is the first Yamaha product to come with a Rekluse clutch as an optional feature direct from Yamaha dealers.

“Yamaha has developed an incredible side by side in the YXZ1000R and we are honored to have had our clutch technology selected by Yamaha as a must have accessory for the vehicle,” said Sean Brown, R&D Manager at Rekluse. “We started work on this project a little over two years ago. Being able to collaborate with the team at Yamaha to develop the product has been a great experience for our company.”

The optional clutch upgrade features Rekluse’s innovative EXP technology, which eliminates engine stalls without compromising the experience of driving a vehicle equipped with a manual transmission. This product also includes Rekluse’s proprietary Adjustable Slave Cylinder for clutch gap setting ease.
