 REKLUSE FINISHES ROOF OF AFRICA EXTREME ENDURO AFRICA - (November 26-28, 2009) - After yesterday’s soul destroying 10-hour session of extreme enduro riding, today followed suit seeing the front running competitors having another almost ten-hour day on a shortened route starting at 06:00 this morning, with the first man home at 15:40. "This is by far the toughest race I have ever done," commented New Zealands Rory Mead, who finished second overall in his maiden race on a 250cc Yamaha, behind his countrymen and defending champion Chris Birch.  ANOTHER GOLD FOR FORSBERG! BOISE, ID - (November 9, 2009) - Rekluse rider Maria Forsberg again grabbed gold in the 2009 ISDE, held in Portugal. Forsberg came out on top of a week-long battle for 2nd overall with Jessica Jonnson of Sweden, mounting a come-from-behind charge over the last two days of the event to finish with a 1-minute gap on Jonnson.  CONGRATULATIONS PAUL WHIBLEY ON YOUR GNCC TITLE! CRAWFORDSVILLE, IN - (October 26, 2009) - Kawasaki's Whibley Claims GNCC XC1 Championship at Final Round Irvine, Calif.- Kawasaki's Paul Whibley captured his first-career GNCC XC1 championship at the final round of the series in Crawfordsville, Ind. His fourth-place finish was enough to stay 20 points ahead of the runner-up and secure his second championship of the season aboard the Kawasaki KXTM450F. Teammate Jimmy Jarrett finished a respectable top-5 after leading the first lap, while XC2 class rider Scott Watkins finished just off the podium in fourth.  WHIBLEY IS OMA CHAMP BEDFORD, IN (August 30, 2009) - Round 8 of the OMA's saw a new venue in Bedford Indiana. Also with the GNCC's about to resume after the summer break, brought about an influx in Pro riders making the start line. The JG Offroad, GEICO, Monster Energy Kawasaki team was back to full force with the return of Jimmy Jarrett. Yamaha was well represented with Am Pro's Thad Duvall and Barry Hawk and Andrews Cycles Jason Thomas.
With little rain at the venue over the last week found the soil dry and loose. After the Quads had torn up their track it was obvious that dust was going to be a feature of the race. More ...
