True to Their Name: Lifestyle Cycles Visit and Harley Clutch Upgrade

A few months back, we ran into some of the awesome crew from Lifestyle Cycles at a mutual V-twin industry event. Some of the riders there are already running Rekluse product in their Harleys, but they hadn’t been introduced to the new APEX clutch yet. Intrigued by the capability claims, they invited us down to check out the shop and spend some time with their crew as they installed an APEX clutch in one of the guys’ big-inch baggers.

The bike that received the new clutch is a 2018 Harley-Davidson FLHX owned by Kurt Dye, Lifestyle Cycles’ customer service, fulfillment, and e-commerce manager. Outside of his contributions to Lifestyle, Kurt is a retired Army Veteran and he lives and breathes the “lifestyle,” dailying his Harley to and from work. “This bike is my daily and is running an S&S 129(ci) top end with their 475 cam, just under 130 HP, but more important to me, has a ton of torque,” clarified Kurt.
